ABOUT SIERRA

Born and raised in southern California, I spent the early part of my life enjoying San Diego's beach culture. Though I love my hometown, it couldn't contain my intrepid spirit and thirst for adventure. At a young age, I knew I wanted to travel. When I began modeling at 15, I was able to make that dream a reality. My work has brought me all around the globe, from New york to New Zealand, and I've set foot on nearly every continent (not many shoots going on in the Antarctic! :)). The experiences I've had during that time have profoundly influenced my character and world view. I've made a number of great friends in the course of my adventures. Some of them are still part of my life – others I remember through the trinkets they've given me or the indelible marks they've made on my heart and soul.
On the show Survivor, I was able to further explore myself and the world, facing the show's many challenges (both natural and social) without compromising my integrity. For obvious reasons, the majority of the Survivor footage never makes it on air. Viewers don't get to see how much of a family we all were or how much we needed each other to survive. Competing on the show was one of the most intense experiences of my life, and I hold it close to me every day.
Though I'm young, I've led a fruitful life. I've been blessed with a number of amazing opportunities. I believe that my open heart and passion for life drew these opportunities into my orbit, but I would never have been able to enjoy them if it weren't for the support of my mother, who's always encouraged me to follow my dreams. Now that Survivor is over, I look forward to modeling again, returning to work on my jewelry line, exploring acting and sucking as much marrow as I can from the bones of life..
